PATRONS
The AC/DC frontman and Gateshead-born rock superstar is the Foundation’s first patron. He backed the Foundation’s first project — a Nordoff Robbins music therapy centre in Newcastle, the first of its kind outside London. “I am very proud and privileged to be the first patron of the Graham Wylie Foundation. I strongly believe in the power of music to help children and adults through the tough times of ill health.” He also supports the Brian Johnson Music Therapy Room in Sarasota, Florida.
Lee Westwood
The former World Number One and ten-time Ryder Cup player became a patron following his role as tournament host. Close House’s touring professional since 2011, Westwood said he was honoured by the appointment and committed to helping the Foundation flourish, both through the British Masters and well into the future — inspiring children right across the North East.
